Feel Good Fridays: Volume 1
A weekly dose of hope, heart, and humanity in action - featuring community-sourced stories of kindness and organizations doing good.
When looking around at what’s going on in the world right now, it can be easy to feel disheartened and hopeless for humanity.
But what the news isn’t sharing with you is that there are hopeful acts of humanity happening in the corners of our own communities.
Which is why I wanted to start this Feel Good Friday series to highlight the good in the world: stories of random acts of kindness, organizations making a difference, and overall just hope that we can return to the state of humanity we all are craving and hoping for!
Each week, I’ll ask my community for their input, so if you know of an organization or want to share a story of hope, please message me (or comment below) and I’ll add it to the next roundup💐
Here’s to remembering the kindness that makes us humankind🤍✨
This Week’s Moments of Kindness, Courage and Hope
Strangers Show Up For Someone’s Battle With Cancer
“Some of the most kindness I have found in this world has actually come from strangers during this time❤️”

Neighborhood Kids Help, Asking For Nothing In Return
This is actually my own story. I needed help moving some furniture after I was recovering from a surgery and couldn’t do it myself. I posted in my neighborhood FB group asking if someone’s college kid could lend me a hand and I would pay them. A dad replied within two minutes saying his two college boys could help (LOL - gotta love parents volunteering you for things😂). The boys came early, were so kind and when offered money, refused to take it. They said, “we just want to be neighborly and help where we can. If you need anything else in the future, please let us know.” One of the boys, who works at a local ice cream shop, also invited us to come in for some free ice cream (little did he know, ice cream is my ultimate weakness🤤🍦)!
Kids these days get a bad rap, but I promise you, there are many who still know kindness, respect and how to socially interact 😜.
Maybe we could all learn a thing or two from these boys on how to be more neighborly🤍.

The more we open our eyes, the more we can find goodness and inspiration all around us (like this little paver I saw on my morning coffee walk this week).
BE the embodiment of the world you want to live in
As you head into the weekend, ask yourself:
“How can I show up as someone who embodies the humanity I want to see in the world?”
Maybe you see someone struggling and help, maybe you pay a stranger a compliment or maybe you donate your time/money/energy to a cause that matters to you. There are infinite ways to add some goodness into the world.
And when you start intentionally doing this more, you’ll be shocked at how good it makes YOU feel.
I hope this first edition of Feel Good Fridays added some hope to your day and inspired you to BE the goodness you’re seeking in the world.
If each one of us shows up in this way, we truly will be making a difference💐.
Until next week, stay well🤍
P.S. Don’t forget - if you’ve got a story or org you want to share, just send me a message or respond via email and I’ll include it in the next roundup!
